My name is Ryan Static. I’m a painter and songwriter, and everything I create starts with a story. I try to be as honest as I can in my work — sharing parts of my past, my present, and the things I’m still trying to understand. Art, for me, is about baring your soul as naked as it can be.

I’ve lived in and around London my whole life, and the city has shaped the way I see the world and who I’ve become. Its mix of beauty and chaos, light and dark, shows up in my work. I’m influenced just as much by the hardest parts of being human as I am by the quiet, beautiful moments that stay with you.

Since I was five, all I’ve ever wanted is to become the truest artist I can be. Whether I’m painting or writing music, I’m always trying to capture something honest, vulnerable, and deeply felt.
